Back to the Drawing Board

I had my Drawing II class today, and let me tell you, it’s going to be an interesting semester.
Because my school is so small, my drawing class wasn’t big enough to be on its own, so it is combined with TWO other painting classes. Meaning, the majority of the time I am in my drawing class, struggling with charcoal portraits, I will hear lectures on acrylic paint, techniques, old dead painters, etc, basically a repeat of last semester, in which I actually took a painting class.

But anyway. For class today I paired these faded jean shorts from Forever 21 with this thrifted, oversized sweater.

To put some sketchbooks in, I threw on this bag from Gospel for Asia that I got as a gift from a dear old friend after I complimented his on a mission trip.

My sandals are from Kohl’s, and I have been wearing them SO much since my boyfriend bought them for me this summer. They’re super comfortable, and they make more of a statement than my other sandals, so I like that about them. IMG_8992

My ring is from Claire’s and my statement necklace is from H&M.

I stole these earrings from my sister, and I don’t think she’s noticed yet, so I might keep them ;P

I created a small winged liner look with my L’oreal Paris Infallible liquid liner, which I like a lot because it’s a super black.

And that completes the look!

What is your favorite thing about school?
